Typing Capital Letters with Shift
Use the Shift key on the opposite side of the letter: for “J” hold left Shift with the little finger, for “A” hold right Shift.
In many typing exams a capitalisation error counts as a mistake, so practise it deliberately.
Tips
- Press Shift first, then the letter, then release both.
- Avoid Caps Lock for single capitals.
